(If I spelt anyone's name wrong, I'm sorry. Just send me an email
yelling at me please.)

Most of the regulars were amazed at how many people we had in attendance.

Voting for a new co-president. It's Gaylin versus Drew. Drew gives
his speech and says, "don't vote for me." Nobody did. If only Drew
were writing speeches for Ralph Nader we would have had President Kerry.

Gaylin is voted in unanimously by voice vote. Jake ripped up paper to
make ballots, which were never used. Good thing Natalie wasn't around
to see Jake wasting trees.

Update on Justin: He's running for Student Senate Co-President.
Though Jake claims he has more power as Dem co-prez than Justin ever
will have.

Jake hasn't had any coffee today.

We're still looking for a campus organizer. Talk to Jake about the
details. It is a paid position, and you would get credit for it.

Gaylin asks about Pizza and Politics. Everybody blames Justin on its
demise. There is discussion about bringing it back to life.

Budget update: 155 dollars left.

Jake advertises for the shirts. New t-shirt design is to be
considered. Any body with ideas should submit them to either Jake or
Gaylin. Jon has his idea, but it has about as much chance of being
used as Dennis Kuchinich does at ever becoming president.

Jon and Gaylin debate about donkeys.

Tony has been charged with treason. He has connections to the enemy:
Saint Olaf.

Jake suggest the idea of moving the meetings up to a later hour so
afterwards everyone can watch the Daily Show and Colbert Report. This
idea isn't very popular. Tony speaks out in defense of the poor
people in the handbell choir.

Uh oh! Jake is talking with the republicans!

Carla Update: efforts to bring her over are going quite well. We all
look forward to the day when Carla is working in the Dems office for a
few hours a week.

Tony finds some gavels and gives them to the co-presidents.

Meting adjourned at 8:26 PM.

Cafter Party

Jon says he has no voice, much like "some" of the voters in Florida.
