Hey Everyone,

I must first address my mood at the moment before I write the minutes.
I recently was told my minutes are not as funny as Allan's. I
completely agree with the person who told me this, so I was really
making an effort in these minutes to increase the comedy. I was near
the end, and they were good. I was laughing at least, and there was
lots of comical material to work with.... However, I hit some weird
button, and my whole message disappeared. Now I'm angry and tired, so
you are getting the most straight forward and boring minutes ever.
And I dont' even feel bad about it.

In Attendance: Kacy Wtohe, Alex Knewtson, Lisa Hughes, Maren
Anderson, Brian Curran, Justin Martin, Natalie Norby, Laura Groenjes,
Danielle Harms, Andy Winn, Alison Glenn, Jacob Seamans, Stacy Sletten,
Carla Shutrop, Allan Johnson, Eric Nelson, Galen Mitchell

I. T-shirts Tabling
-Tuesday and WEdnesday of next week from 2-8 (schedule at bottom)
-Shirts should be union made, however we have already set the
cost, so if this option is too expensive we are sticking with the
original idea.

II. Eric contacted the secretary of state of the state College Democrats
-They are merging with the DFL, so there will be a conference to
elect a new president.
-One of the Candidates will come talk to us at our meeting on March 20th.

III. P & P during diversity week.
      -topic of Homosexuality?
-We will be getting additional funds for more pizza.

IV. Mirth Jam
-Sunday in Alumni Hall from 11-6
-We will have a table to sell our T-shirts
-I also lost the list of those who signed up to table, so I
really hope you remember if you did.

V. Demfest
      -NO MORE PROCRASTINATING!
-Eric and Galen will look into bands and other such entertainment.
-Peter will contact Ruth Johnson to find out who has RSVP'd.
-I will look into Donkey frost-your-owns from the caf
-We have cotton candy and sno-cone supplies
-Lisa, Danielle and I will be meeting on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in
the Courtyard Cafe to brainstorm other "fun ideas" that we can do for
Demfest. Any one is welcome to join us or email me with ideas.
-When we have more planning, we will start to set a time frame
(the Burton Dinner starts at 5:00, and Ruth Johnson can hopefully get
us discounted or free tickets).

VI. Binders about Election Day
-Anyone who wants to can meet in the Den this Friday at 4:30 to
compile binders regarding how to organize Election Day activites.
-It was suggested that we should have binders for any executive
board position and for the events we hold, such as Demfest or
Progressive Week.

VII. Progressive Week
-The SJC is planning many events which coordinate with our
Progressive week, so we can hopefully just organize them to span the
entire week.

VIII. May Day Conference
-Richard Leitch needs volunteers on Wednesday, May 2nd for the
Caf lunch hour to remove all current foods/dispensers and replace them
with local products from within a 200 mile radius. If you are
interested, contact Galen or Richard.

IX. The DLC meets on Mondays at 9:30 in teh Leadholm room. Peter
goes and anyone is free to join him.

X. Reminder to the Executive Board that we are meeting with the
Republican Executive Board Wednesday at 8:30 in the Faculty/Staff
Lounge.

Have a great week everyone! Once again, I'm sorry if I bored you to
death. I promise better (and more comedic) minutes next week!
