[GAC-Dems] HRC Caucus Training

Hey Dems!

I have told some of you that I am coming back to the Dems next  
semester now that my tenure with the Senate is up! I'm really excited.  
With that, I have a little project I've been working on that I would  
like to collaborate on. I have been working with the HRC (Human Rights  
Campaign) and they are going to be doing Caucus training at colleges  
and universities in the state.

Essentially, the training focuses on what to do at Caucuses, how to  
bring forward resolutions, and how to be selected as a delegate for  
the conventions. They have us on the schedule for the second week of  
J-term. Either on Thursday or Friday. It would start with a short  
dinner/social portion from 5-5:30 and we would go from 5:30 - 7 with  
the training. The training is non-partisan(ish) so we can invite our  
friends across the aisle if we would like. The event is currently  
sponsored by Queers and Allies and the Office of Residential Life (Q&A  
House). I would love it if the Dems would like to jump on board for  
this. I know  there are no meetings left this semester, but if the  
leadership would like to let me know what/how they would like to  
contribute that would be great. Really the only thing we need are  
people to come to the event, and maybe a bit of help with publicity.
