Affirmative Action Professor/Student Debate.

This Wednesday (12/5), 7pm at the Courtyard Cafe.

A parliamentary-style debate between students and faculty intended to
promote conversation on campus concerning Affirmative Action.

The question: Is Affirmative action necessary and relevant in today's 
society?

For the Affirmative: Education Professor Deb Pitton and Forensics team
member Mary Cunningham.
For the Negative: Political Science Professor Richard Leitch and
Forensics team member Sean Maerten.

The debate will be followed by a Q&A session and is sponsored by Pi
Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honors Society and the Gustavus
Forensics Team.
