[GAC-Dems] Minutes for 4/24

Hey Guys,

Well, if you didn't find us for the meeting tonight, that's because we  
were in the Den at 7:00.  Here are the minutes!

In Attendance:  Kacy Wothe, Galen Mitchell, Laur Groenjes, Carla  
Shutrop, Eric Nelson, Jonathon G. Carlson, ESQ., Mr. Allan A. Johnson,  
Peter Grafstrom, Matt Pollari, Shawn

I.  T-shirts are done tomorrow and can be picked up at B-stark
      -I thought I could pick them up, but plans have changed, so if  
anyone can, email Jake Seamans
      -Galen will look into reserving tables to sell them.

II.  Demfest....cancelled.
      -We didn't have anyone confirmed, so we have to cancel.
      -We could do another progressive week, but there's not really time
      -We're going to try to get Kathy and Terry to come talk to us  
sometime in Johnson Family Courtyard about the state grant program  
(Kathy's on the committee and on the fence).  This way, we can still  
have hot dogs and rootbeer floats!
      -Peter and Allan will get Terry and Kathy and set date, I'll  
take care of food.

III.  Next Wednesday we are co-hosting a Pizza and Politics for May Day.
      -We need to advertise, so Eric will print off some computer  
posters.  Anyone want to make big posters????
      -Information about the food security topic will be sent out

IV.  The MN DFL convention on Saturday
      -A few people are going, email Eric if you want to go.  It  
starts at 10 in the cities

V.  Eric ordered 6 tickets for the Burton Dinner, but they are all taken.
