[GAC-Dems] Minutes for 10/25

Hey everyone,

Here are the minutes for this week's meeting.  Also at the bottom is  
the tabling schedule for tomorrow and Wednesday.  Even if you're not  
signed up, remember it's always great just to have people show up!

I.  Get out the Vote!!!
      -Put signs in your windows, your friends' windows, strangers'  
windows, anywhere and everywhere!
      -Lisa reminded us that the space we have on campus will be used  
for all campaign procedures in St. Peter.  We have Linner Lounge  
reserved for all operations.  To sign up for shifts, email  
lhughes at gac.edu.
      -Vans:  We have two big ones reserved all day, but may switch to  
one big one and one small one if we don't have enough certified  
drivers.  If you are certified and want to help, email pgraftsr at gac.edu.

II.  The party election night
      -Terry Morrow is donating $500 (!!!) to our party, in addition  
to the $100 we already have.
      -Andy and I will be coordinating food, decorations, and press.
      -If you have any suggestions, wants, wishes, ideas, etc, etc for  
the party, email me at kwothe at gac.edu.  So far, we're thinking B-dubs,  
Godfathers, chips, pop, Donkey cookies???, and all that good stuff.  
Time permitting, I may even bake a special cake......we'll see.   
Remember, we have $600, so don't hold back!

III.  November 3rd at 1:00 in the Courtyard Cafe there will be a  
special guest!!

IV.  Any available doorknocking opportunities will sent through email.  
  Keep an eye out for them and volunteer your time!

V.  For the next few weeks, our meetings will be held in the Dive  
***NOT IN THE BOARD ROOM*****

VI.  We still need dorm captains for Arbor View, College View, and IC  
on election day.  If you know of anyone, or you yourself wish to fill  
this position, email lhughes at gac.edu

VII.  Those who volunteered to write a letter to the editor for the  
Weekly must have the letter in on Monday by 5:00!!!!  They are not  
guaranteed to be published, especially since the paper is getting to  
"liberal," but try it anyway!

VIII.  Peter went doorknocking this last Monday and still has a few  
places in St. Peter to be knocked.  If anyone would like to go with  
him meet at 3 Flags at 5:00 today!

IX.  Sujay Rao is our advisor, meaning we can be officially recognized.
