Hi folks, here's the (almost) weekly Dems Meeting recap, March 16th Edition:

Attendance: Gwen Peterson, Kerstin Hodne, Hannah Johnson, "The Phenom" Andy
Winn, Joel Wenzel (I wish my keyboard had a peace-sign key), Eric Nelson, Mr.
Allan A. Johnson, Megan Torfin


-  We are in the midst of planning for a Campus Progressives Week, which will
take place the week of April 18-21... Also on board are the friendly Gustavus
Greens and Gustavus Chapter of Democracy Matters.

-  For those of you who are not familiar with these two campus organizations,
they are progressive groups- which is why we invited them to participate in
Progressives Week.  Pretty novel, eh.

-  Seriously, this week is going to be really exciting because progressives are
exceptionally organized (hey at least we're not Landoning!) < that was for you,
Eric Nelson

IV.  Dems are planning A Pizza & Politics for the Wednesday of that week,
B-I-N-G-O for Thursday, and a Progressives Dinner on Saturday evening.

V.  We are hopefully getting speakers for something that week as well. (i.e. Mr.
Terry Morrow)  We are also getting our 2006 "Revolution" shirts together...

That's pretty much a wrap for this weeek: Unfortunately I will be absent at next
week's meeting and will have to relinquish my monopoly on Dems propanganda to
someone else (undoubtly to the much-feared Allan Johnson, Prez and
Parliamentarian)  So, see you after Spring Break :-)
