                  Dems Minutes--February 9th, 2006
                   Spring Semester, Vol. 1, No. 1

Present:

   Da Prez- Allan Johnson; Megan Torfin, Chris Anderson, Gwen Peterson, Emily
Eddy, Erin Green, Hilary Clinton, Hannah Johnson, Condi Rice (Shhh...), Eric
Nelson, Jon Carlson, Kerstin Hodne

Introductions:

   Each member states their name, major, color of toothbrush, and their position
on the observation of Valentine's Day...

1) "Real" Business

-Posters: They were made by generous volunteers on Thurs. evening after the
meeting
-Tabling: (For caucusing & meetings) *On Tuesday and Thursday, presumably after
next week... Sign up at next Thursday's meeting (or just show up with your
"Dems are sexy" T-shirt)
-Speaking of which, when are we making new t-shirts and what are we putting on
them?  Come next Thursday and help determine the future of Dems apparel!!
-Burton Dinner is on Friday, March 31st.  So we may not be have DemFest "per se"
Instead,
-We may have more guests for meetings and other events.  People like Terry
Morrow (if we can reach him somehow) and Ruth Johnson (also very difficult to
contact)

-Special thanks to Gwen, Erin, Emily, and Hillary...  You guys rock...
-There's a lot riding on next week's meeting, so much that I couldn't even fit
it all into this minutes document- so see you there bright and early (7pm, 49er
room)
-Free coffee & baked goods @ Swedish House @ 9pm next Thurs. for anyone who
comes to the meeting!
