In Attendance: Kacy Wothe, Lisa Hughes, Erich Engen, Jacob Seamens,
Eric Nelson, Allan Johnson, Peter Grafstrom (P-dizzle????), Galen
Mitchell, Steven Palmer, Andy Winn, Matt Pollari, Tom Carlson, Andrea
Carlile, Amy Erickson, Brian Corran, Danielle Harms, Vijay Rao

Pre-Meeting: Eric's hair looked very nice. I believe the word "sexy"
was used, and I'm pretty sure Allan was a little jealous....don't
worry, Allan, you looked very nice too. Perhaps, however, Allan's
less than jovial mood was due the fact this was his last meeting as
co-pres. He's fighting to still keep his key (sometimes I guess
people just can't let go...). Jake's "quest" to find the republicans
is the most unsuccessful venture....ever. Also, Peter was taking
random pictures, some thought, as an attempt to make it appear as
though he truly does have friends. Now, on to the good stuff.

I. Shirt Committee
-They were supposed to meet, but due to a lack of
communication/concensus, they didn't. Galen, however, went ahead and
made up four designs (in an attempt to look good. It worked....this
guy should be co-president or something...). The designs were: 1) A
donkey in a circle; 2) A slightly different donkey in a circle; 3) A
baby donkey with the slogan "Now that's a cute ass" or something to
that sort; or 4) A kicking donkey with a flag. Designs 1,2,4 would
have the "Democrats are sexy. Who ever heard of a hot piece of
elephant?" slogan.
-Due to a lack of order/concensus, the issue of picking one was
motioned to be tabled until next meeting by Andrea, and seconded by
Peter.

II. Consitution Committee
-First of all, great job to all of you who re-wrote our
constitution. However, a few more changes had to be made.
-Grammatical Errors, language a little "flowery", consideration
of position duties, add term lengths, define active membership,
resignation, and 1/3 + 1 election.
-Look for a copy of the constitution to come through your email,
look it over, and we'll be voting to adopt it at our next meeting.

III. We will probably be meeting in January. It will be mostly up to
the new co-pres as Eric will be gone. Look for notices of meetings in
January.

IV. Allan is done. But, we are electing someone new (after, of
course, Allan gave a farewell speech, which he suprisingly and
thankfully kept under two minutes...well done).
-Galen Mitchell and Jacob Seamens were both nominated. However,
Jake declined. Galen's speech consisted of saying "Thanks" and a
promise to "stay on track." There was a motion for a unanimous
consent vote. It was seconded, and Galen won with flying colors.
Congrats.
-Since Galen won, we needed a new treasurer:
-Nominated were Jacob Seamans and Andy Winn
-Jake's speech: He familiar with the files, knows how much money we
have, and has a calculator (which he can use).
-Andy's Speech: Accounting major, and a toast to treasury
-This election was through a closed ballot, and Jake won by one
vote. Congrats.
-Allan is still the parliamentarian (so, yes, he can keep his key).

That's it everyone. Good luck with finals, have a wonderful winter
break, and hopefully we'll see y'all this January or during Spring
Semester!
