[GAC-Dems] Last Night's Meeting

Greetings,  here's a rundown of what happened last night in the world of
Gustavus Democrats:

Attendance: Me; Allan Johnson; Andrew "El Calor" Winn; Aaron Hutchinson (from
Walz campaign); Eric Nelson

I.  Pizza/Politics scheduled for next Wednesday...  The topic is immigration

II.  Kathy Sheran will be speaking next Thursday in Linner Lounge at 7pm, to be
followed by an abbreviated Dems meeting

III.  Former Gustavus professor of political science, MN state representative,
and local legend Donald Ostrom will be speaking in the Courtyard Cafe on May
10th at 7pm!

IV.  MN state representative hopeful and Gustavus professor of communications
studies Terry Morrow is seeking volunteers/interns for this upcoming summer...

And last but not least, there will be a democratic convention in Mankato this
Saturday.  It will take place in the Student Center Ballroom (on 2nd floor) at
MSU, from 7:30am-3pm followed by canvassing for Tim Walz from 3-5pm.  This
convention will star our own Terry Morrow, Cindy Sheehan, and Tim Walz.
